On July 11, aircraft of UAE National Aerobatic Team the Fursan Al Emarat (the Knights) arrived at Ramenskoye airfield of Gromov Flight Research Institute.

Flight and technical crew members will be acquainted withstationing conditions of the airfield, undergo a necessary training by the specialists of Gromov Flight Research Institute, and on July 12, practice flights will begin. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the performance of the team on any public day.

The Fursan Al Emarat shows its group aerobatics performancewith Aermacchi MB-339 training jets specially modified for demonstration flights.

“It is a great honour for us to perform at MAKS-2017 together with the Swifts and the Russian Knights, legendary Russian aerobatic teams”, commented Colonel Nasser Al Obaidlion the results of the negotiations.

"Fursan Al Emarat" (The Knights) is the aerobatics demonstration team of the United Arab Emirates Air Force. The team,formed in 2010, flies seven Aermacchi MB-339 jet aircraft.
