MY JET, a dynamic Swiss-headquartered company evolving in the sectors of business aviation and financial management, was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the “Startup of the Year – Business Services Industries” category in The 13th Annual International Business Awards today.
The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small – are eligible to submit nominations. The 2016 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.
A record total of more than 3,800 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.
MY JET won in the “Startup of the Year - Business Services Industries” category, for introducing the future of jet ownership in business aviation. Namely, the company has developed an innovative software, supported by an in-house professional team, to accomplish its mission: to revolutionize private jet ownership through technology and expertise by offering a simple, efficient and comprehensive tool to aircraft owners.
Today MY JET acts as an independent third party that forecasts, collects, analyses and structures all operational and finance data on the aircraft on-the-go. The game-changing platform and user friendly interface available from smartphone or mobile screen allow increased transparency and control over jet financial management, while in-house team of aviation experts advises the jet owners on the industry’s best practices to optimize the expenses and maximize the efficiency of the jet operations.

Below are just some of the comments of the IBA judges on MY JET entry:
Kirill Kim, CEO and Co-founder, MY JET, commented on the award: “This is the first time MY JET enters into an international competition, and we are so excited of being recognized immediately at such a high level. We have created MY JET with one aim: to bring added value to all business aviation industry stakeholders, and the judges’ comments prove that we are moving in the right direction. My most sincere congratulations to all IBA winners!”.
Christopher Marich, Global Strategy Director and Co-founder, MY JET, added: “I was so excited to see all these positive comments on MY JET entry from the Judging Committee. During our first year of operation we have convinced more than 20 owners to join us, with 20 more in the pipeline by the end of 2016, and I am happy to see that our achievements have also been recognized by the experts from all over the world. We believe that in the nearest future the unique technology which we have put at the heart of MY JET will revolutionize the way of financial accounting and control of private jets, positively impacting this industry and all its stakeholders”.
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August.
“This year’s IBA judges were treated to many remarkable and inspiring stories of achievement around the world,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “We look forward to sharing many of these stories with people around the world over the coming months, through the Stevie Awards blog and social media channels, with the hope that they will inspire and instruct the next generation of business achievers.”
