Surrounded by more than 80 business airplanes arrayed on Henderson Executive Airport (HND) for NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA2015), Nevada's Clark County Commissioner Steve Sisolak said his community was pleased to serve as the show’s host.

“Clark County appreciates our longstanding relationship with NBAA and what they bring to our community,” said Sisolak, chairman of the Board of County Commissioners, emphasizing the convention’s impact of over $22 million in direct spending and “how important general aviation is to both our local and our national economy.”
The fifth-largest trade show in the United States, NBAA2015 will draw more than 1,100 exhibitors and nearly 27,000 attendees to the Las Vegas area, as Sisolak noted at today's press conference on the Henderson ramp with NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen.
“NBAA’s convention puts Las Vegas this week at the very center of the international business aviation community,” said Bolen. “We have people here from more than 90 countries and we have manufacturers from all over the world. All of this comes together to create an event that’s really important and really dynamic.”
With the NBAA2015 static display of aircraft coming together in the background, Bolen and Sisolak’s press conference was covered by Las Vegas area TV and news outlets.
NBAA2015 ranks in the the top 25 largest conventions that come to Las Vegas, said Chris Meyer, vice president of global business sales for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
As Meyer added, “a convention of this size and significance helps the Las Vegas community by supporting thousands of jobs and pumping tens of millions of dollars into the local economy.”
