A new location for the 2017 European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE2017) aircraft static display location will debut in May, as ongoing construction for the Geneva International Airport passenger terminal is moving into the final phase.

Since the construction significantly impacts the traditional static location, attendees will take a 2-minute complimentary shuttle ride from Hall 7 of the Geneva Palexpo to the new static display location. EBACE2017 attendees can catch the shuttle bus to the static display from Palexpo Hall 7.

Signage will guide attendees to the new shuttle bus stop. Buses will run continuously from 0700 to 1900 each day from 22-24 May. All buses are handicap accessible.

“EBACE is a unique opportunity for business aviation professionals and end-users to see a number of different aircraft types in a single location,” said Joe Hart, NBAA’s director of static displays. “This year’s static display will feature nearly 60 aircraft, including new and pre-owned aircraft.

“There is no other European venue which allows business aviation professionals or end-users to see so many aircraft types in one place, comparing different models side-by-side, and this year’s new location will make the static display even more convenient for attendees,” he added.

EBACE is often the European platform for aircraft type or design news. EBACE2016 saw the public debut of the Pilatus’ newest jet, the PC-24 and the first outfitted BBJ 787-8 on display, as well as an announcement of certification of the Gulfstream G650ER by the European Aviation Safety Agency. The Pilatus PC-24 will return for 2017 and will be on display for the duration of the conference.

“The static display at EBACE2017 will be even more impressive than previous years,” said Hart. “Each year, EBACE brings unexpected announcements of new aircraft types, design methods or avionics. 2017 will be no different. It’s the can’t-miss event for business aviation professionals in Europe.”
