Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation, the Russian Helicopters holding company and the Academician Reshetov Information Satellite Systems are take part in Singapore Airshow 2016.

According to a spokesman for the United Aircraft Corporation, its civilian airliners have good prospects in the Asia-Pacific region. "According to UAC’s estimates, Sukhoi Superjet aircraft could capture up to 15% of the market in the region, and sales are expected to exceed 150 aircraft," he said.

Russian Helicopters will present a number of its products at the air show, including the Mil Mi-171A2 transport helicopters, the Kamov Ka-32A11VS multirole helicopters and the Mi-35M attack helicopters.

Singapore Airshow 2016 is held from February 16 to February 21 at Changi Airport. In 2014, 1,018 companies from 47 countries took part in it, and the number of visitors exceeded 45,000.

It is expect that the total amount of the contracts to be concluded at the show will exceed the showing of two years ago. "In 2014, contracts worth about $32 billion were signed at the air show, which is a 3-percent increase compared to Singapore Airshow 2012," members of the organizing committee said.
