TAG Aviation and TAG Global Training (TGT) are proud to be both sponsoring and participating at this year’s third Global Family Office Community Conference (GFOC) which will take place at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Thursday 9th June.

The GFOC Conference annually brings together relevant industry business experts and members from the global community of family offices to provide a topical platform for sharing ideas as well as the opportunity for networking with fellow peers and discussing common issues which affect families and their family offices.

Capt. Russ Allchorne, Vice President Flight Operations, TAG Aviation Europe, will be addressing the conference on news of TGT’s ‘Private Staff Aircraft Safety Training’ Course and TAG Aviation’s unique solution for private jet operators and owners ahead of the impending European Aviation Safety Agency Part-NCC regulations which come into force on 25th August. These new regulations will demand a far greater degree of regulatory compliance from private owners and operators than has been required before.

“Essentially if an aircraft is not operated by an established operator who has the necessary infrastructure and systems in place, legal responsibility for the safe and proper operation of the aircraft defaults to the owner, who must then ensure that the aircraft is operated to the required Part-NCC standards” said Capt. Russ Allchorne, Vice President Flight Operations, TAG Aviation Europe. “TAG’s unique solution will provide owners with the complete piece of mind that their aircraft will be operated to the highest standards of safety and airworthiness, whilst meeting the regulatory requirements of the European law and of the State of Registry.”

TAG’s ‘Private Staff Aircraft Safety Training’ programme is an innovative course designed to accompany the wide range of practical and theoretical Ground Courses already offered by TGT. “The course is ideally suited to PA’s, close protection teams, household staff and even grooms travelling with horses” said Debbie Elliott, Training Manager, TAG Global Training.

“Owners of aircraft with less than 19 seats are currently not obligated to have cabin crew on-board, so the trusted staff of these high net worth individuals may be required to undertake similar responsibilities on the aircraft. The course will therefore be of essential use and support to such personnel who are frequently required to accompany a client on board the aircraft. In the unlikely event of an incident occurring, these staff will therefore have the knowledge and experience to support and protect the client and their passengers.”

Full details of all TGT courses, including Private Staff Aircraft Safety Training, Yacht Crew Aircraft Safety Training, Initial and Refresher First Aid Training, Crew Resource Management and Fire and Smoke Training can be found at http://www.tagaviation.com/en/tag-global/ All courses can be delivered internationally with pricing available on application. For further details of all courses please refer to the TAG Global Training website.
