Dubai Airshow has announced that the Airport Safety and Security Conference will be happening during the airshow in November.

The conference, organised by Fleming Gulf, will discuss the security aspects of the airport industry and how big data and integration markets are leading to upgrades and new investments in the airport security market.

“Passenger numbers in the region continue to soar, which presents an increase in security challenges for airports. We are launching the Airport Safety and Security Conference in response to these challenges and opportunities, and there is no better place to reach the right people than at the Dubai Airshow,” said Ranjith Paul, managing director of Fleming Gulf.

Dubai Airport has announced growth projections of 126 million passengers by 2020, leading aviation operators in the MENA region are keen to develop strategies that cover their aviation activities, systems, commercial information, intellectual property and people.
