Russia’s Aeroflot will initiate and fully subscribe to a capital increase in Orenair subsidiary as part of the group’s multi-brand renewal strategy. Orenair provides flights to leisure destinations.

In November 2011, Aeroflot received 100% shares of OrenAir from Rostekhnologii (Rostec), a state corporation controlled by the Russian Federation, together with shares of four other regional carriers like Rossiya Airlines, Saratov Airlines (Saravia), SAT Airlines and Vladivostok Avia. The carrier created Aurora Airlines from the last two companies and sold Saratov Airlines.
