Blueberry Aviation announced successful delivered four ATR72-600s to ACIA Aero Leasing. This delivery is part of a repossession and remarketing project assigned to Blueberry Aviation, involving a formerly NAC-owned fleet of 10xATR72-600 which were operated by Garuda. Blueberry Aviation was mandated by the French and Italian Export Credit Agencies to support the negotiation with the airline and manage the full repossession project.

Francois Gautier, Blueberry Aviation CEO commented: “I am pleased to say the delivery of these aircraft confirms Blueberry Aviation’s team as the go-to experts for regional aircraft in the global secondary market. We are grateful for the ECAs’ renewed trust. It has been a pleasure working with ACIA to complete this transaction.” 

This included on-site physical and records inspections, valuation of the fleet, recovery from Indonesia, ferry to and storage in France, managing aircraft insurances, as well as the remarketing and redelivery of the aircraft to their new owner.

Blueberry Aviation was founded in 2003 and employs a team of 25 aviation professionals based in Monaco, Dublin, New York, Singapore and Mumbai, providing end to end solutions for complex aircraft transaction. It has completed over 170 commercial aircraft transactions, performed more than 500 inspections and moved over USD 3.5 billion worth of assets for over 70 customers.

Blueberry Aviation is also a leading provider of investment, lease management and helicopter placement services. It has completed over 530 helicopter transactions and moved over USD 1.75 billion in rotary assets for over 290 customers since inception.
