A repair facility , the first of its kind in Russia and CIS, will be created by S7 Technics and Honeywell to handle Honeywell APUs installed Honeywell APUs installed in the most popular aircraft of Airbus A320, Boeing 737 and RRJ-95 families.

According to the signed license agreement, S7 Technics is granted the status of Honeywell Channel Partner and shall be capable of providing authorized services to APU of 131-9А/B and RE-220 types.In 2019 the Companies will agree on the production site location in European part of Russia, start selecting and training of personnel, and buy and install new equipment and test bench necessary for the applicable types of APUs. S7 Technics shall perform APU Depot Level Maintenance which is defined as total disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly and functional test of an engine.

Operation of the MRO facility will be carried out under the EASA Certificate Part 145 of S 7 ENGINEERING (part of S7 Technics holding). The expected repair capacity is approximately fifty APUs per year.

Continued possibilities for MRO of Honeywell APUs in the region will allow Russian and CIS airlines to achieve the time and cost savings  since they will not need to send the units abroad any longer.
