Swiss-based maintenance facility, Air Service Basel, has received authorisation from the Mexican Civil Aviation Authority to support small and mid-size business aircraft registered in Mexico including King Air, Textron and Falcon.
The handling and maintenance facility located at EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg announces new Maintenance Organisation Approval certificate from the Mexican Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC).
The certification was approved after the DGAC representatives conducted a full audit in Basel over the first week of June.
“We thought the audit went very well and the Mexican Inspectors seemed very satisfied with our facility” said Air Service Basel’s Quality, Safety & Security Manager, Uwe Paukner “and it’s a great achievement to be able to extend our services to Mexican customers.”
An additional certification awarded to the maintenance facility and FBO, alongside its existing range of approvals and capabilities, including EASA, FAA and IS-BAH, reflect the company’s high-quality standards and exceptional service.
Located at the Southwest corner of the EuroAirport in Basel (LFSB / LSZM), Air Service Basel’s IS-BAH certified FBO terminal offers a full range of customer-focused services for business aviation including; aircraft hangar and apron parking, fueling, maintenance, management, passenger and crew support, and VIP handling.
Air Service Basel’s EASA and FAA approved maintenance department offers airframe, power plant and avionics services and can facilitate a wide range of aircraft including piston, turboprop and turbine engines. Air Service Basel is an authorized dealer of premium providers including Garmin, Honeywell and Rockwell Collins and is also warranted by the FAA to carry out ATC Transponder and Altitude reporting tests on any aircraft.
