Alsim is very pleased to announce that an AL172 simulator has been installed at the Banyuwangi Pilot School, East Java, Indonesia. The school signed for it at the end of last year. Dedicated to PPL & IR training, this simulator, developed in 2017, is an exact replica of the Cessna 172 SP Skyhawk NAVIII. It features G1000 avionics and is equipped with the Alsim High Definition Visual System.
 
The school already signed for an AL250 last year, the 1st of its kind in the country. Last year, Alsim successfully sold over twenty of these simulators worldwide.
The Banyuwangi Pilot School began operations towards the end of 2013 and have graduated around 100 students since. Currently the school has around 100 students with more to come.
 
Mrs Audrey Jeffroy, Alsim’s Sales Director, explains: “We are very pleased to work with the Banyuwangi Pilot School and contribute to their student’s excellent training with our latest AL250 & AL172 simulators. They renewed their confidence in buying another simulator from Alsim and this is clearly the beginning of a great cooperation between our two companies”.

 
To help realize their vision, Banyuwangi Pilot School has undertaken the following missions:

  • Meet the educational facilities and training requirements of pilots in accordance with the latest developments in science and technology
  • Education and training of professional pilots, meeting international standards, increasing pilot capacity and the quality of human resources as needed

Afen Sena, SE., M.Si as the head of the Banyuwangi Pilot School, expressed his high expectations to achieve the above missions using the AL172, where this flight simulator will be an excellent tool to improve cadet skill and knowledge and create future professional pilots.
