Daher announced its selection of StandardAero as the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services supplier for Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 engines that power Daher’s family of TBM very fast turboprop aircraft based in Europe.

Following an extended selection process, a three-year contract was awarded to StandardAero for coverage to be available to all European TBM customers for their PT6A turbine powerplants. TBM aircraft operated by the French Ministry of Defense in a fleet managed by Daher under a Full Operational Support agreement also are included in this coverage.

StandardAero is recognized by Pratt & Whitney Canada as a designated distributor and overhaul services provider for the PT6A. With more than 25 years of reliable turboprop experience, StandardAero provides options and recommendations that are tailored to specific operator needs. StandardAero's facilities and infrastructure have been specifically designed for component repair and maintenance events with the goal of minimizing downtime and reducing operator costs.

“We have selected StandardAero for its excellent track record in MRO operations, which fully match our expectations – and the requirements of our European operators – for support,” commented Nicolas Chabbert, Senior Vice President of the Daher Airplane Business Unit. “High-quality, competitive and comprehensive support is part of the formula for success with our TBM family, and having StandardAero on our team will enable us to deliver the best service in the marketplace.”
