ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group, is celebrating becoming the provider of major maintenance on Honeywell TFE731 engines in the EMEAI region (encompassing Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India), after ExecuJet’s Johannesburg facility was awarded the rights by Honeywell International on 26 June 2018.

ExecuJet’s MRO facility in Johannesburg is based at Lanseria International Airport, and has been a Honeywell Approved Facility for more than 20 years. ExecuJet is a Honeywell TFE731 specialist, providing manufacturer-standard services and quality workmanship to its customers. Honeywell is recognising this distinction with the awarding of this prestigious contract.

Graeme Duckworth, Executive Vice President MRO Services, ExecuJet, says: “Our infrastructure at the MRO facility in Johannesburg is primed to support Honeywell’s maintenance operations for the entire EMEAI region. In addition to the TFE731, we also carry full overhaul authorisation and onsite test cell capability for Honeywell TPE331 engines, commonly found in smaller turboprops – a key consideration for our customers, given the popularity of these aircraft amongst regional airlines in Africa, Europe and India.

“Becoming the provider of major maintenance for Honeywell’s TFE731 engines is a credit to the hard work and dedication to excellence of our engineers and technicians. We are delighted that Honeywell recognises ExecuJet’s experience in providing class-leading maintenance, and that we can extend this exclusive service to our customers.”

ExecuJet, part of the Luxaviation Group, offers a diverse range of services, including aircraft management for private and commercially registered aircraft, charter, maintenance, completions management and fixed base operations. ExecuJet has operations in six regions – – Africa, Asia-Pacific, the Caribbean, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, embracing a workforce of more than 1,000 experienced staff.
