RUAG Aviation has extended their Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approvals to include full maintenance services for Gulfstream G550 aircraft at their Munich-based facilities. FAA registered aircraft are now able to benefit from the comprehensive portfolio of support services available from RUAG Aviation. This announcement follows the recent extension of the EASA Part 145 Maintenance Organisation approvals for the Gulfstream G550.
“The intercontinental range of the Gulfstream G550 allows its owners and operators greater flexibility. The FAA confirmation of our capabilities and services for Gulfstream aircraft provides these customers with even greater advantages when it comes to determining their aircraft support provider and the scope of required services,” explains Volker Wallrodt, Senior Vice President Business Jets, Dornier 228 & Components, RUAG Aviation. “Our proven one-stop shop solutions and convenient location ensure we are able to respond to their needs promptly and precisely. Gulfstream G550 customers will benefit from accurate scheduling and optimised downtimes.”
In fact, the central location of RUAG Aviation’s Munich facilities combined with the comprehensive portfolio of in-house capabilities provide business and VIP aircraft owners and operators with strong criteria by which to determine their support and solutions provider. These current FAA approvals allow RUAG Aviation to apply all services including heavy maintenance, aircraft painting, cabin interior design and refurbishment, in-flight entertainment (IFE), and avionics on behalf of Gulfstream G550 aircraft owners and operators. “Our customers can rely on RUAG to prioritise their requirements. This is why we are keen to continuously expand our service portfolio and technology expertise. The international Gulfstream G550 community may now enjoy the opportunity of discovering RUAG as their partner of choice for all aircraft services,” asserts Volker Wallrodt.
