Aero Atlanta Flight Center has successfully obtained the Advanced Aviation Training Device simulator qualification for their ALSIM ALSRcompact. The ALSIM ALSRcompact is a new streamlined SR-series Advanced Aviation Training Device and is a replica of the Cirrus Aviation SR20 G6 aircraft. This durable and reliable simulator is the right device for various pilot licenses and Cirrus Aircraft transition and familiarization training. The ALSRcompact is equipped with a real Garmin Perspective + and has a small form factor designed for space-constrained environments. The device is delivered in a pre-assembled kit that can be easily self-installed and ready to fly in only a couple of hours!
Daniel J. Christman, President at Aero Atlanta, commented: “The successful certification of our ALSIM ALSRcompact simulator stands as a remarkable accomplishment between all parties engaged. As a result, our clients now have the privilege of accrediting the hours spent in the simulator towards their private and commercial certificates or instrument rating.”
Jordan Basirico, ALSIM FSTD Qualification Engineer, said: “After great teamwork with Aero Atlanta, we are proud to add the ALSRcompact on the list of our FAA approved simulators. The device offers a comprehensive set of training capabilities on real Garmin equipment, all within a space-efficient design. We are pleased to welcome Cirrus pilots, instructors, and enthusiasts for a test-flight at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2023.”
