FL Technics Training, a global provider of aviation technical training services, is delighted to announce that its EASA-compliant Online Training™ platform has further expanded its functionality. From now on, having completed a training course, the company‘s corporate and individual customers will be able to take an online exam before actually receiving the certificate. The new feature is currently available for Fuel Tank Safety (Phase 2) course.
Upon the completion of courses with the new functionality, students are presented with the opportunity to pass the examination online. This feature can be accessed by simply pushing the button “Start”. The bottom line for passing is 75%, so if a student does not succeed at the first attempt, he or she can have another go at it 24 hours later. Upon the successful passing of the exam within the two attempts, students will be issued the required certificates, while failing both times will result in an automatic requirement to re-purchase the course. Having launched the first course with the option of examination, the company is planning to supplement its platform with two additional courses (Human Factors based on Part 145 and Fuel Tank Safety (Phase 1)) within a few months.
“Although the platform went online just a little over a year ago, our courses are already very popular and highly evaluated by such customers as Norwegian Air Shuttle, EUROP STAR and others. While the initial version of the Online Training was more suited for the individuals seeking to meet their personal training needs, the latest functionality is designed to offer more control over the final result of training, which is especially topical for employers. We are confident that the new option will make the Online Training platform even more attractive to MROs, airlines and other industry companies as it can greatly facilitate their daily HR qualification processes,” shares Kestutis Volungevicius, the Head of Engineering and Training at FL Technics.
Online Training™ is an Internet-based platform offering online EASA-compliant courses, launched back in the summer of 2014. The platform provides access to a wide range of initial and continuing training courses in the areas of Human Factors and Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (Target Group 1-2 and 3-8), as well as Fuel Tank Safety (Phase 2).
