FRENCH PILOT TRAINING SCHOOL ASTONFLY ACQUIRES THEIR THIRD ALSIM AL250 FLIGHT SIM IN 12 MONTHS

Alsim is very pleased to announce the sale of a third AL250 FNPT II simulator, to Astonfly, a flight training school located in Toussus-le-Noble, near Paris, France. The simulator will be delivered beginning of 2019.

Alsim developed the EASA & FAA certified AL250 simulator in 2016 in response to a strong market demand. This compact FNPT II addresses initial phase training needs (PPL, CPL, IR/ME) and is SEP/MEP re-configurable. In addition, it offers both classic and glass cockpit instrumentation for each flight model at the simple flick of a switch. This device is really a great success for Alsim: almost 30 simulators of this kind have been installed worldwide.

Mr Charles Clair, Astonfly’s President, explains the reasons why they purchased another Alsim AL250: “We are very satisfied with the quality of the AL250 we bought few months ago. Alsim also offers great after-sales service, therefore we decided to renew our confidence in the company. Our business is increasing in a significant manner, we need to invest to continue meeting the demand.” He adds: ”Astonfly plans on welcoming 120 students per year in the near future: apart from significant investments in new buildings, we are also going to increase our fleet with 13 more aircraft (10 single engine and 3 Diamond DA42) in the next few months.”
