GA Telesis announced the appointment of Elias Dimitiri as Vice President of Flight Solutions Group for Sub-Saharan Africa, effective January 5, 2026. This expansion marks GA Telesis’ sixth global operating region and represents a deliberate step in the company’s strategy to build the world’s largest and most integrated independent aviation aftermarket parts and services network. The appointment represents the initial phase of a broader plan to establish full operating and distribution capabilities across the African continent.

Jim Sokol, President of Flight Solutions Group commented: “Expanding into Sub-Saharan Africa is a critical milestone in our long-term vision to create the world’s most comprehensive independent aviation aftermarket ecosystem. This appointment is the first step toward building a full operating and distribution platform in Africa, and Elias brings the leadership and market expertise required to execute that strategy.”

In his role, Dimitiri will lead GA Telesis’ Flight Solutions Group expansion across Sub-Saharan Africa, developing the foundation for scalable regional operations while strengthening access to independent aftermarket supply chain solutions for airline and MRO customers. 

The addition of Sub-Saharan Africa further extends GA Telesis’ global footprint and builds on a proven track record of establishing full operating and distribution platforms across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Central Asia. This expansion reinforces GA Telesis’ commitment to delivering real-time on-continent, reliable, efficient, and sustainable independent aftermarket support through the unified global GA Telesis Ecosystem.
