Gary Jet Center (GJC) is proud to announce today that it entered into an agreement with Cirrus Aircraft to be an Authorized Service Center (ASC) for the aircraft manufacturer and its growing base of customers. Gary Jet Center will have trained technicians on both the SR-Series piston aircraft and the Vision Jet, and will offer customers a full-range of aircraft maintenance on the Cirrus Aircraft as part of the agreement. In addition to routine and annual maintenance of the Cirrus Aircraft, GJC will offer composite and paint repair, warranty support, Garmin and Avidyne avionics servicing, and air conditioning service.

“We are excited to be a part of the global network of Authorized Service Centers for Cirrus Aircraft,” said Jeff McLain, director of maintenance for Gary Jet Center. “For nearly 30 years, Gary Jet Center has been performing maintenance on a variety of aircraft with our Part 145 Certificate, and to secure this relationship with Cirrus is a tremendous addition to our offerings. We look forward to providing exceptional service and support to Cirrus owners in the Chicagoland area and beyond.”

As a Cirrus Aircraft ASC, Gary Jet Center’s team will have access to genuine Cirrus Aircraft parts, and training to ensure the maintenance process is timely and seamless. The GJC maintenance team provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, including CAPS inspection and recertification, ADS-B incorporation and other modifications to the avionics suite, and an aircraft management package to ensure the owner’s Cirrus aircraft is available for dispatch, as well as compliant with all FAA and Cirrus maintenance schedules.

Gary Jet Center is an aviation services company based at the Gary/Chicago International Airport, located 25 minutes from downtown Chicago. A family-owned and operated company for 30 years, the Gary Jet Center holds two Part 145 Maintenance certificates. Additionally, GJC provides fixed base operations to a variety of corporate and general aviation operators, aircraft management services to a range of aircraft owners, and Part 135 Charter operations. With over 110,000 sq. ft. of hangar space and a consistent focus on exceptional customer service, Gary Jet Center is poised to accommodate and service the corporate jet market in the Chicagoland area.
