Agro Aero, a medium-sized, family-owned flight school in Szeged, Hungary chose Alsim AL250 flight simulator . The school offers Zero to ATPL flight training courses for more than 100 students per year. The AL250 is their first flight training device.

The Alsim AL250 is a generic and compact simulator for single & multi engine piston (SEP/MEP reconfigurable) PPL, CPL & IR training. The device meets all current regulatory standards and responds to training requirements of smaller and mid-sized ATOs, flight schools, and universities. With more than 30 devices installed worldwide, the AL250 has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.

Mr Árpád Rózsavölgyi, Agro Aero Executive Director, explains why his school chose Alsim: “With the desire to make our instrument training more efficient and improve its quality while keeping our students’ cost low last year, we started looking for an FNPT II device. As a relatively small business an investment like this wasn’t an easy choice to make. We needed to take multiple factors into consideration. The device had to be easily integrable into our existing module-based training program, being capable of simulating multiple classes of aircraft to fit the varying needs of our clients. It should also be able to simulate classical instrumentation as well as a modern EFIS, have PBN capabilities and non the least it should be affordable.”

He adds:” After extensive search and recommendations from partners we found Alsim’s AL250 to best suit our needs. Alsim’s approach towards us was exceptionally professional; their customer service is 5-star. We tested the device at the pilot seat as well as the instructor station and found the realism to be quite impressive. The force feedback felt great during normal maneuvering and change in control pressure was impressive during icing conditions where the accumulated ice was even visible on the aircraft’s leading edge. The instructor station is simple to understand and control. Our instructors and trainees are eagerly waiting for the sim to arrive in June in order to start their instrument training on it. There are plans to develop and start an integrated CPL/IR training program next year in which the AL250 will play a pivotal role.”

Mr Nicolas de Lassus, Alsim’s Sales Account Manager, emphasizes: “We are very pleased to welcome Agro Aero, a recognized family flight school in Hungary, among our AL250 customers.”

Agro Aero is a family business located in Szeged–the “city of sunshine”–in the southern part of Hungary. As an ATO they provide training up to the CPL/IR level with frozen ATPL. Currently the school is operating a fleet of Cessna basic trainers, a Cessna 172R IR training aircraft and a PA34 Seneca. In the family business, experience is combined with youthful vigor along with the desire to stand up to present and future challenges, as can be rightfully expected from any successful multi-generational business. The older generation has decades of experience, while the younger generation has a fresh perspective. We are dedicated to give the most to our students and help them reach their dreams at the highest level in aviation.
