JCB Aero opened early December its facility doors to an audience of government representatives, industry experts and local dignitaries. The company celebrated the inauguration of their newly installed 3D Printing Large Scale 5 axis CNC Machine “Cms Poseidon Kreator”. This new CNC machine is the first one in France and ensures 3D printing and machining of parts and tools of large sizes (3.4 x 4 x 1.3m). This manufacturing is 100% recyclable.

Eric Cagnat, COO of JCB Aero, commented: “This CNC 5 axis was developed for machining large-volume work pieces such as Composites parts, tools, mock ups etc. The know-how behind this machine is coming from experience gained in the automotive and nautical sectors and therefor guarantees a perfect surface finish, high machining speed, reliability, structural rigidity, application flexibility and increased productivity. We are very looking forward to offer a broad range of new services to our clients.”

On Thursday December 7, 2023, JCB Aero opened their facility doors to an audience of government representatives, industry experts and local dignitaries.. JCB Aero, an AMAC Aerospace Company, celebrated the inauguration of their newly installed 3D Printing Large Scale 5 axis CNC Machine “Cms Poseidon Kreator”. JCB Aero are recognized experts for technical composite material. For a few weeks, JCB pride themselves to be the owner of a state-of-the-art CNC machine, one of the few existing in Europe. The machine was delivered end October 2023 and it took 1 month to install and calibrate.

M. CARRIE Laurent, Prefect of Gers, stated: “We are impressed by the capabilities of this machine. For us, it is vital to support innovative companies in France and to create attractive workspaces not only for today but also for the future. JCB Aero convinced us by demonstrating their capability to adapt to these modern needs."

JCB Aéro applied for the financial funding program “France Relance 2020” launched by the French Government and was one of 12 winners in the Occitanie Region. This program enabled JCB Aéro to invest in this new production facility to improve its competitiveness and reinforce its diversification.
