Jet Aviation is pleased to announce that its maintenance facility in Dubai has been awarded EN9110 certification following an independent audit. The company has also gained EASA, FAA and GCCA approvals for the Airbus Corporate Jet (ACJ) family, as well as EASA approval for the Bombardier Global BD700 series.
In recognition of the development, implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems, Jet Aviation’s maintenance facility in Dubai recently received EN9110 certification that was confirmed by an independent auditor. Coupled with the EASA, FAA and GCCA approvals, the company secures its ACJ Service Centre Network (SCN) status. With these approvals, the company is authorized to support 24-month inspections for the ACJ family and EASA and FAA-registered Global BD700 series.
EN 9110 certification encompasses a series of standards developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) on the basis of ISO 9001, and acts as a clear indication of a company’s demonstrated ability to meet maintenance quality assurance requirements of both OEMs and customers for aircraft and their parts and services. OEMs require their suppliers and sub-contractors to comply with the certification, while for customers, it represents increased assurance and satisfaction.
“We work very closely with both OEMs and authorizing agencies to ensure a broad array of quality services for multiple aircraft types is available to our customers,” said Hardy Butschi, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation’s MRO and FBO operations in Dubai. “These new approvals extend the scope of our service offerings at both airports in Dubai across several registrations and attest to our commitment to Dubai and the region.”
