Lufthansa Technik AG enters into a strategic partnership with the aviation data and records management software provider FLYdocs. As part of this agreement, Lufthansa Technik has become shareholder in the FLYdocs business, replacing the Private Equity partner GCP.
FLYdocs will remain an independent entity that continues to drive the digitalization of paper-based processes under the current management team.
As part of Lufthansa Technik’s digital strategy, this agreement is a first big step to accelerate the digital transformation of the aviation industry. Together, FLYdocs and Lufthansa Technik plan to develop new digital services that will be of high value for operators and lessors globally.
