Tecnam delivered four P92 Echo MkII aircraft to Pilot Training Center, a premier FAA Part 141 and Part 61 approved flight school based in the United States. This fleet expansion marks a significant milestone in Pilot Training Center’s commitment to providing students with the most advanced, safe, and sustainable training platforms available.

Kamal Patel, Chief Flight Instructor at Pilot Training Center, commented: “The addition of these new Tecnam P92 aircraft reflects our ongoing investment in the future of aviation training. We’re committed to giving our students access to the most advanced, efficient, and safest training platforms available. This expansion ensures that every pilot who trains with us is fully prepared for the technology and standards of modern aviation.”

Walter Da Costa, Tecnam’s Chief Sales Officer, stated: We are delighted to have Pilot Training Center choose Tecnam for their fleet expansion. The P92 Echo MkII is a game-changer for flight academies, offering a unique blend of modern technology and superior handling qualities. We are proud to support PTC in training the next generation of pilots on aircraft that are not only fun to fly but also environmentally friendly and cost-effective.”

The selection of the P92 Echo MkII aligns perfectly with the Pilot Training Center’s mission to deliver a modern training experience. The aircraft are equipped with advanced Garmin G3X Touch glass cockpit avionics and Garmin Autopilot systems, allowing students to gain hands-on experience with digital flight displays from day one. This exposure is critical so pilots are able to log TAA time and further aid in the transition to complex aircraft and commercial aviation environments later in their careers.

Beyond avionics, the new fleet offers substantial operational advantages. The P92 Echo MkII is renowned for its safety and predictable handling, making it an ideal platform for ab-initio training. Powered by the reliable Rotax 912 engine, the aircraft boasts exceptional fuel efficiency—burning just 4–5 gallons per hour compared to the 8–10 gallons typical of legacy trainers. This efficiency not only lowers operating costs but also supports sustainable aviation practices, as the engines are capable of operating on unleaded mogas, significantly reducing the carbon footprint.

The introduction of these brand-new aircraft is expected to enhance student appeal in a competitive market, reinforcing the academy's reputation for professionalism and quality, a key factor for both domestic and international students.
