Quality Fly, the Madrid-based aviation academy, has announced the addition of 4 brand-new Tecnam P2008JC MKII aircraft to its training fleet this year. Additionally, the school is retiring and selling its 3 Tecnam P2002 aircraft. This is part of an ongoing commitment to standardise and modernize its fleet and enhance operational efficiency for its ATP Integrated Program. The addition of the new Tecnam P2008 aircraft offers significant benefits for ATP Integrated students:

Fleet standardization

With a unified fleet of Tecnam P2008 single-engine piston (SEP) aircraft with glass cockpits, learning times reduce and the student learning curve improves by over 30%. This standardisation simplifies training procedures and improves overall flight training outcomes on Quality Fly’s ATP Integrated Program. By the same token, moving into the MEP & IFR training in their Tecnam P2006 aircraft is a smoother transition.

Alignment with the New ATP Integrated Program

The fleet facilitates the implementation of Quality Fly’s new innovative ATP Integrated program. The program features a distinct separation between theory and flight training, with a “slot flight planning system”. This is aimed at optimizing flight schedules and reducing downtime.

Enhanced efficiency and safety

A standardised fleet means greater efficiency in flight operations, heightened flight safety, and increased operational stability. All of these mean a better training experience for Quality Fly ATP Integrated students.

Safety for our students and instructors

All the new Tecnam P2008 aircraft are equipped with FLARM technology, ensuring they align with the safety standards of the rest of the fleet. FLARM provides real-time collision avoidance, contributing to a safer flying environment for ATP Integrated students and instructors alike.

These additions to the fleet mark a key milestone in Quality Fly’s mission to provide state-of-the-art ATP Integrated training for future commercial airline pilots, enhancing the quality, efficiency and safety of the training experience.

Quality Fly is based in Cuatro-Vientos airport, Madrid. The academy boasts a highly international profile with all classes taught in English. They offer possibly Europe’s most innovative ATPL integrated program, which meets the latest and future EASA requirements and includes 40 hours in A320 full flight simulator level D, night flights in MEP, gliding training sessions or career advice. All to ensure the highest level of competency to fly as First Officer in the most demanding airlines around the world and prepare the students for real life circumstances. The commitment of Quality Fly to digital processes and effective systems allows the school to maintain its very competitive price for the 2025 ATPL course.
