Shell Aviation announced year-on-year growth AeroShell Piston Engine Oil Sales, strengthening the position of AeroShell lubricants as the best-selling piston engine oil in the world.

In the first half of 2015, Shell Aviation raised the global sales of AeroShell PEO by 5.1 per cent.

Shell Aviation has helped the rise in sales by spending more time with customers at different aviation events, and using the events to promote their AeroShell PEO.

Stephane Cicolella, General Manager Lubricants, Shell Aviation “I’m pleased with the growth we have generated in our AeroShell PEO product line. Passionate aviators have trusted our brand for generations and we continue to build on that confidence, using Shell’s technological capability and strong collaborations. We aim to maintain this performance through our sharp customer focus, our R&D efforts with key OEMs and our strong distributor network.”

Long-term collaborations with OEMs have allowed Shell Aviation to test products in numerous conditions.

Through it’s long-term support of the AeroShell Aerobatic and AeroSuperBatics Wingwalking Teams, Shell has also experienced how AeroShell oils function in the conditions of acrobatic flying.
