Spirit Airlines renews its partnership with Safran for the supply and MRO of its Airbus A320 wheels and carbon brakes - Maintenance / Trainings publisher

Spirit Airlines and Safran Landing Systems have renewed their long-term agreement for the supply and MRO of wheels and carbon brakes for the American carrier’s Airbus A320 fleet. This contract covers both the Airbus A320ceo and A320neo in service and more to be delivered in the future.The renewal of this agreement contributes to Spirit Airlines' commitment to providing robust, reliable operations and affordable travel options throughout the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Manufacturing will be carried out by Safran Landing Systems plant in Walton (Kentucky) which employs 400 highly qualified employees. This contract also includes comprehensive and responsive maintenance services through Safran Landing Systems Wheels & Brakes Services network in Florida, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Texas and Nevada.
