On 27th January 2017 TAG Global Training will officially celebrate its landmark 10th birthday. The anniversary will mark the start of a very exciting year ahead and a grand salute to a triumphant decade of delivering premier training to Pilots and Cabin Crew globally.
Over the past ten years TAG Global Training has gone from strength to strength, providing ground school training for over 22,000 participants which is testament to the interactive training environment that Debbie Elliott, Training Manager, identifies as the most rewarding and engaging way for crew to undertake the wide range of training courses available.
“TAG Global Training currently offers over thirty Aviation, EASA, and DFT compliant training courses that have been designed to meet the training requirements of our pilot and cabin crew attendees as well as the unique requirements of our ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients’ bespoke private operations. Course materials are refreshed annually so our clients never receive the same format twice and they can be undertaken to suit individual training requirements. All courses are fully compliant with recent European legislative changes”, said Debbie Elliott, Training Manager, TAG Global Training.
“Our training centre was originally set up to facilitate the training requirements of TAG Pilots and Cabin Crew. Now ten years later, in recognising the close synergy between our UHNW clients’ expectations, we have successfully extended our course offerings to the Yachting Crew Community. It has been an amazing journey! In addition to being able to train household staff on aircraft safety in the homes of UHNW clients, TAG Global Training has become the first UK CAA Accredited Cabin Crew Training Organisation and an internationally acclaimed aviation training provider.”
"The creation of TAG Global Training is one of our proudest achievements and exemplifies the Spirit of TAG in which we seek to provide unparalleled operational excellence and an uncompromised focus on safety”, said Graham Williamson, President Aircraft Management and Charter Services, TAG Aviation Europe. “Training is the key to ensuring that our crews share our passion for quality, excellence, innovation and respect.”
Based at its renowned training facility at Farnborough Airport, TAG Global Training has become an integral part of the airport’s offering for the thousands of crew who fly into Farnborough on a regular basis. The training centre prides itself on delivering a one-stop solution to training, all facilitated by an expert team of experienced instructors and showcasing the very latest sought-after training programmes and teaching facilities. Client-focused receptionists make certain that all training enquiries receive a personalised and bespoke customer services response ensuring that their unrivalled reputation for training excellence remains as strong today as when the organisation was established ten years ago.
"We signed our partnership with TAG Global Training at EBACE 2014 which has produced a collaborative and productive relationship providing training solutions to the Aviation community. The professionalism of the TAG Global Training team matches the corporate values of SATCOM Direct and we look forward to continuing this partnership.” - Chris Moore, Chief Commercial Officer, Satcom Direct.
“The Global Family Office Community is often approached by training companies that would like access to our network of Family Office members. When meeting TAG Global Training, it was obvious that they share the same discretionary values that our members expect. Therefore it was a natural choice for us to introduce TAG Global's bespoke training to staff of the family offices, whilst gaining access to the private jet market via TAG Aviation all under one roof. I look forward to a long working partnership with Debbie and her team.” - Vahe Vartanian, Founder and CEO, Global Family Office Community.
"Since 2008 I’ve attended various recurrent training courses with TAG Global Training. I always enjoy the courses and find the instructors knowledgeable and professional. This is why, in 2016, when applying for my own AOC, I didn’t hesitate in selecting TAG Global Training as the providers of ground training for our flight crew.” - John Jackson, Director and Accountable Manager, Scenic Air Tours Limited.
