EPAG NG renewed its trust in ALSIM by purchasing an ALX. EPAG NG and ALSIM have been long-time partners, since the flight school has been operating an AL42, exact replica of the DA42 aircraft, for almost ten years.

The ALSIM ALX provides up to 4 classes of aircraft–from single engine piston, twin engine piston, twin turbine up to medium category twin jet. The device is designed and approved for ATPL, CPL, MCC in compliance with all current regulatory standards. The ALX offers advanced technology simulation equipment tailored to all specific training requirements. In addition, it has a proven track record for cost-effectiveness and helps save numerous aircraft hours.

Sebastien HUGAULT, co-director of EPAG NG, explains why they have chosen ALSIM again: “Currently EPAG NG has three simulators including an ALSIM AL42. As part of the modernization process and the MCC training launch, reactor transition and airline selection, EPAG NG has chosen to renew its confidence in its French partner - ALSIM by choosing the ALX. Flexibility, versatility and cost efficiency were the determining factors in the choice of the ALX.”

Nicolas FABRIES, ALSIM’s Sales Account Manager, commented: “We are excited to bring our collaboration with EPAG NG one step further, with the delivery of this ALX, in complement to the AL42 which they have been using for nearly 10 years. We want to thank the EPAG NG Management team for their renewed confidence in our simulators and services“.

The EPAG NG is a unique private French school selected by Air France to provide initial training for its pilots. Moreover, the school has a unique expertise in the training of the French DGAC instructors and examiners.

The trainings are supervised by the most experienced instructor-examiners in the sector, they often work as airline pilots for French and foreign airlines.

Experience, Expertise and Excellence are the key words for the transmission of this knowledge which our French astronaut Thomas Pesquet was able to benefit during his pilot training.

At the forefront of innovation, EPAG NG is now the first school in the world to provide integrated training for beginner airline pilots on 100% electric aircraft.
