TP Aerospace signs new all-inclusive agreement with Malaysian freighter operator, MJets Air further strengthening TP Aerospace’s presence in Asia Pacific. MJets Air, a specialist freighter operator based in Malaysia and a key component of MMAG Aviation Consortium—the aviation arm of publicly listed MMAG Holding Berhad—has chosen TP Aerospace for its comprehensive and all-inclusive Cycle Flat Rate Program. This agreement encompasses both the current and future fleet of B737CL and B737NG aircraft operated by MJets Air.
The fully integrated exchange program offers a plug’n’play cost-per-landing concept where the customer pays a fixed rate per landing, which amongst other, will provide MJets Air with full cost transparency on their wheel and brake activities.
Global Programs Director, Philip Broskov Hansen commented: “We are pleased to partner with MJets Air and support their fleet with our full-service Cycle Flat Rate Program. This agreement not only enhances our presence in Malaysia but also emphasizes our commitment to providing reliable and cost-effective solutions to our customers in the Asia Pacific region.”
MJets shares in a statement about the new agreement: “We are excited to embark on this partnership with TP Aerospace, leveraging their Cycle Flat Rate Program to streamline our operations. This collaboration not only supports our B737 fleet with enhanced efficiency but also aligns with our strategic vision to expand our freight operations across Asia Pacific. TP Aerospace’s commitment to transparency and cost management will play a crucial role in optimizing our operational costs and enhancing our service reliability.”
In 2018, TP Aerospace opened an MRO facility in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from where MJets Air will mainly be serviced. MJets Air is an air cargo freighter operator based in Malaysia. They offer a range of services beyond air freighter operations. Equipped with its own fleet of aircraft and a robust cargo terminal operation hub, MJets Air is strategically positioned to establish Malaysia as the strategic and key regional transshipment hub for e commerce and air cargo.
