FlyBy Aviation Academy, one of Europe’s fastest-growing and most internationally diverse Approved Training Organizations, headquartered in Spain, received first Tecnam P2006T NG. The addition of the P2006T NG, Tecnam modern twin-engine trainer, reflects FlyBy’ commitment to offering its cadets the latest in aviation training technology while ensuring ease of operation, high safety standards, and operational efficiency.

P2006T NG is renowned for its modern design, fuel efficiency, and ease of flying, making it an ideal platform for Multi-Engine Piston training. This aircraft aligns perfectly with FlyBy’s mission to deliver comprehensive, top-tier pilot instruction using state-of-the-art tools and techniques. This milestone marks a new chapter in the ongoing collaboration between Tecnam and FlyBy, who now operate a fleet of 30 Tecnam aircraft. FlyBy, recently acquired by Sherpa Capital, a leading private equity firm in Iberia, is experiencing a new phase of growth. This growth is supported by an ambitious expansion plan that includes both internationalisation and inorganic growth, as well as the strengthening of its position as a leading training centre.

Pedro Carlos Pavesi, Director of FlyBy Aviation Academy, commented:“Our goal is to provide our cadets with the very best training environment, and that starts with the aircraft they fly. The Tecnam P2006T NG offers exactly what we need: modern systems, reliability, and a platform that prepares students for the demands of airline operations. We are proud to continue expanding our Tecnam fleet as we grow our global training community.”

Walter Da Costa,Tecnam Chief Sales Officer stated: The collaboration between Tecnam and FlyBy represents the perfect synergy between innovative aircraft manufacturing and excellence in pilot training. Together, we are shaping the future of aviation by equipping the next generation of pilots with state-of-the-art technology and world-class instruction.”

FlyBy Aviation Academy trains over 350 students annually from more than 117 countries, offering a truly global training environment. With the introduction of the P2006T NG, the academy continues to strengthen its position as a leader in European pilot training, combining exceptional instruction with industry-leading aircraft.

Tradition, innovation and vision. These factors are taking Tecnam to new horizons. Based on recent data and industry benchmarks, Tecnam offers the greenest training fleet in the world. Flight schools using Tecnam’s single and twin-engine fleet can save up to 10 tonnes of CO₂ emissions per CPL student – a 60% reduction compared to fleets running exclusively on 100LL fuel over 155 training hours, including 30 hours in a twin.
