At the European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) Women in Corporate Aviation (WCA-intl.org) awarded an inaugural TAG Global Training scholarship to Beth Walker. As the scholarship winner, Walker will receive a week's training at TAG Global Training in the UK and will earn her EASA Cabin Crew Attestation.

Debbie Elliott, Manager TAG Global Training said: "I am really pleased that we have had this opportunity to work within the Women in Corporate Aviation’s network of cabin crew and pilots for our inaugural scholarship programme. This award will give the winner an opportunity to apply to work within Europe as the holder of an accepted training qualification. Due to the success, we have been contacted by another recognised body that would like us to extend this offer to their members, which we hope to promote in the coming months."

This joint venture was a first for the WCA and a European Cabin Crew Training Organisation.

Karin Muller, International Director for WCA said: “We are very grateful to TAG Global Training for this opportunity to present a new scholarship, and feel this is a very important first step toward the growth and development of WCA reach on an international scale. We’re excited to pioneer this program and are looking forward to more international scholarship opportunities in the future."

Based in the USA, with members throughout the globe, Women in Corporate Aviation is a non-profit association that provides scholarship and networking opportunities along with mentoring programs for business aviation professionals.  In addition to exhibiting at EBACE (stand C25) WCA hosted a member cocktail reception on 22 May as well as a networking breakfast this morning. It will also host a cocktail party, sponsored by Roger Dubuis Boutique, on 24 May.  For more information on membership, networking and scholarship opportunities, please visit WCA’s booth at C25 during EBACE or the WCA website at http://www.wca-intl.org.
