Foster Aviation, the Dubai-based provider of Advanced Air Mobility and aviation solutions, and Aeroberm, a Skyportz company and developer of the patented modular vertipad system, have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate the deployment of vertiport infrastructure across the United Arab Emirates. Under the agreement, Foster Aviation will serve as Aeroberm's UAE partner, working closely with aviation authorities, air safety regulators, and the property sector to establish a nationwide network of vertiport locations.

The collaboration combines Foster Aviation's extensive regulatory expertise, aircraft sales network, and proven vertiport design and construction capabilities across the UAE and wider region with Aeroberm's breakthrough safety-focused vertipad technology. Aeroberm's innovative platform is designed to address three of the most significant challenges currently hindering vertiport certification worldwide: aircraft downwash and outwash effects, lithium-ion battery fire risks, and community noise concerns.

At the core of the system is Aeroberm's patented fractal panel deck, which has demonstrated the ability to dissipate wind energy up to 90% faster than conventional tarmac surfaces in Computational Fluid Dynamics research conducted with Swinburne University. Early findings also suggest the technology could contribute to reducing noise impacts on surrounding communities. In addition, an optional integrated battery immersion system allows aircraft batteries to be fully submerged in the event of thermal runaway, a solution widely regarded as the most effective method for preventing reignition.

As part of the partnership, Foster Aviation will showcase a prototype of Aeroberm's groundbreaking fractal panel technology at VertiExpo Dubai, taking place from 14-16 December 2026 at Festival Arena, Festival City. The companies will also begin accepting advance orders during the event, with deliveries scheduled throughout 2027.

This partnership represents a significant step forward in supporting the UAE's ambitions to become a global leader in Advanced Air Mobility and next-generation aviation infrastructure.

Mohamed Saleem, Managing Director, Foster Aviation, commented:  "The UAE is uniquely positioned to lead the global transition toward Advanced Air Mobility, and the development of safe, scalable and commercially viable infrastructure will be fundamental to that ambition. Aeroberm's patented vertipad technology offers an innovative approach to some of the key challenges facing eVTOL infrastructure. Through this partnership, Foster Aviation is committed to bringing this technology to the UAE and working with regulators, developers, investors and industry leaders to establish the foundations for a scalable vertiport network across the country and, ultimately, the wider region."

Clem Newton-Brown OAM, Founder and CEO, Aeroberm, stated: "The UAE has the vision, the regulatory leadership and the appetite for innovation to be among the first places in the world where flying taxis become part of everyday life. That makes it the ideal launch market for Aeroberm. In Foster Aviation we have found a partner with the regulatory relationships, regional reach and hands-on vertiport design and construction expertise to turn that ambition into real sites on the ground. Together we can show the property industry that a vertiport can be safely hosted on a rooftop, a car park or a waterfront development, and help build the dense network of destinations that Advanced Air Mobility needs to succeed."

The partnership positions the UAE among the first countries globally to deploy Aeroberm's advanced vertiport safety infrastructure at scale, supporting the nation's vision to become a leading hub for Advanced Air Mobility as eVTOL operators move toward commercial certification and entry into service.
