For seven years Airbus has been supporting its work/study students and interns in their efforts to find a job.

The 7th edition of “Carnet de Vol” will take place at Airbus on Friday, 29 June. This year, once again, Airbus is promoting the professional integration of the work/study students and interns from its different divisions and subsidiaries on completion of their in-company training.

Nearly 600 young future graduates with a work/study contract or doing an internship will have the opportunity to meet nearly seventy companies seeking job applicants qualified for the aeronautical and space sectors.

During this ‘job-dating’, the young people will be able to talk to the companies present and try to land a job. There will be a greater number of employers at this key event this year than for the previous edition.

“Carnet de Vol” offers a wonderful opportunity for these young people: in 2017, 68% of the work/study students were offered a job interview further to this event, and 47% received a job offer in the following weeks.

In addition to the SMEs and major companies present for this day, temporary employment agencies, the “Air Emploi” and “Pôle Emploi” job centres will provide their know-how to help and advise the future graduates. Airbus’ partners for this event will also be present: GIFAS, UIMM, OPCAIM, Occitanie region, MEDEF and the Toulouse CCI, along with representatives from institutional bodies.

This event is also held every year at the Cité des Congrès in Nantes.

At present, Airbus has more than 1,700 work/study students on its French sites, receiving  training in professions ranging from production to engineering, including technical, support and service functions.
