AURA AERO has been chosen by Renault to accompany, with its electric aircraft INTEGRAL E, the launch of the new electric Renault 4, unveiled today at Paris Motor Show 2024. To present its brand-new electric car, the French car manufacturer has chosen to call on four French startups pioneering decarbonized mobility, sharing its values and vision, and each bringing its unique expertise in mobility. During one week, the INTEGRAL E aircraft, customized with the colors of the new R4 and renamed R4-INTEGRAL E as a reference to the “4 movements” event, is showcased in hall 5, enabling visitors to discover a new vision of aviation.
INTEGRAL E is a new generation full-electric two-seater aircraft made from noble and sustainable materials (wood and wood-carbon), designed for training, leisure and aerobatics. With this aircraft, AURA AERO fits in perfectly in this "Renaulution", which encourages new mobility solutions, on land or in the sky. This new aviation, more environment-friendly, quieter and more virtuous, also foreshadows the emergence of a new regional air mobility, which will allow, by the end of the decade, the reopening of “low-carbon” routes connecting smaller cities, currently less well served by air or rail than medium or large regional cities.
Since its launch in 2018, AURA AERO is committed to actively contribute in creating a low-carbon aviation, notably with its hybrid-electric 19-seater regional aircraft ERA (Electric Regional Aircraft), whose entry in service is scheduled before 2030.
Jérémy Caussade, President and co-founder of AURA AERO, commented: “We are very honored to have been chosen by Renault to be on their stand at Paris Motor Show 2024 for the launch of the new electric R4. This presentation foreshadows a fruitful collaboration in the future, and we are thrilled to share our vision of future mobility with one of the world’s leading automotive companies. Renault’s expertise is a tremendous asset for us and we are looking forward to developing this collaboration”.
With its team of 250 committed collaborators, all sharing its vision of tomorrow’s aircraft, AURA AERO has already been approved as an aircraft designer and manufacturer, confirming its status as a fully recognized aircraft manufacturer. The first deliveries of INTEGRAL are expected in the coming months.
