Aviall, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company, and Michelin, announced today plans to create a global strategic collaboration agreement. The agreement will align Aviall's global distribution footprint with Michelin's aircraft tire business.
The initiative will result in improved logistics and supply chain models which will improve service to FBOs, MROs and fleet operators around the globe.
Commenting on the agreement, Frank Moreau, President of Michelin Aircraft Tire, said: "We have always been a partner with Aviall, but this strategic initiative will allow us to improve our efficiencies in getting our tires to the market and growing ourbusiness."
Eric Strafel, Aviall President & CEO, added: "This strategic collaboration will aid our efforts of expanding our market reach through key alliances. We are very pleased to continue and grow our long-standing relationship with Michelin to better serve ourcustomers."
