Azur Drones is one of the world leaders in drone-in-a-box solutions for surveillance and inspection. Its Skeyetech solution is operated on many highly sensitive sites around the globe. Skeyetech solution now integrates with Microsoft Azure through Azure IoT Hub to use the power of data for autonomous drone operations.  Thanks to Azure, our Skeyetech systems become intelligent and connected IoT devices. After each mission, flight telemetry is automatically uploaded and analysed in Azure to allow for operational reports and vehicle predictive maintenance. Cloud-based fleet management by Azur Drones provides responsive and scalable customer support, for the growing number of locations around the world where we operate. Remote software updates are also made available to our customers, allowing an efficient and secure loop between customer additional needs and our R&D teams.

Azur Drones also collaborates with Microsoft to benefit from the value of data collected by sensors installed our drones. Skeyetech system is being integrated with the Microsoft live video analytics tools to help detecting events in live video, such as intrusions, suspect objects, ignition, cracks…

“As an early member of the Microsoft for Startups program, Azur Drones believes aerial robotics is the perfect field for IoT and cloud-based services. This combination has the potential to deliver incredible value to the market. Integration into the Microsoft Azure environment is a key enabler to provide customers with a highly secure and always expanding range of services,” explains Nicolas Billecocq, COO of Azur Drones. “Our co-sell agreement with Microsoft also offers us great business opportunities, especially in Europe and in the Middle East where we are already deployed.”

“We are pleased to collaborate with Azur Drones to provide our industrial customers with a new secure way to collect data about their sites. We are convinced about the value of autonomous drone solutions integrated in Microsoft Azure to make industrial sites safer and more productive,” said Anthony Virapin, Director, Startup & ISV Recruit Business Unit, Microsoft France.
