Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) and Superjet International (SJI) have delivered the third Superjet SSJ100 to CityJet. The aircraft with MSN
95111, registration EI-FWC, was delivered to the customer in Venice from Superjet International’s center as scheduled on October, 27.
The aircraft has a 98-seat passenger configuration with the interior designed by the Italian company Pininfarina, 5-abreast seating layout with ergonomic leather seats and a comfortable pitch of 32’’.
SCAC manufactures the airplanes for CityJet in accordance with the concluded agreements and schedules. According to the supply schedule in the production are further 3 aircraft.
Financing of the three SSJ100s supplied so far in 2016 was implemented with the assistance of Vnesheconombank and EXIAR.
CityJet has ordered a total of 15 Superjets (including 3 delivered) with options on a further 16. The contract also provides for fleet technical support and crew training.
The first two aircraft, delivered in June and July of 2016, have been operated by CityJet on its scheduled routes and charter services, as well as on wet lease services on behalf of other airlines.
As of today, CityJet’s SSJ100 fleet has operated almost 1,000 flight hours on over 740 flights, with the aircraft having visited over 60 airports across Europe since June.
Currently 83 SSJ100 are operated around the world. 12 companies and entities from Europe, Russia, North America and Southeast Asia have SSJ100 in their fleet performing the flights in more than 150 destinations. Total flight time of the fleet is 235,000 flight hours, during 5.5 years of commercial operation SSJ100 have performed more than 154,000 flights.
