Daher delivered first new Kodiak 100 Series III utility aircraft for a customer in Poland. This milestone was marked at AERO Friedrichshafen trade show, where the customer – Polish businessman Mariusz Saran – was represented by Piotr Lasek, whose Plane4you company specializes in facilitating new and pre-owned aircraft transactions on behalf of clients. Lasek explained that Saran learned to fly three years ago, and soon set the goal of acquiring an airplane to facilitate his visits to customers and partners across Europe. Saran was aboard the airplane for its ferry flight from Daher’s Sandpoint, Idaho production site for Kodiak in the U.S. to Rheinland Air Service’s location in Monchengladbach, Germany, where the official handover took place.
Piotr Lasek commented: "When Mr. Saran thought about a solution for his business travels, he wanted an aircraft that he could fly by himself while opening access to the many grass strips in Poland. He soon was convinced of the Kodiak’s qualities, and initially wanted to purchase a pre-owned Kodiak 100 from Rheinland Air Service – the authorized Daher distributor in Austria and Germany, but finally chose to buy a new aircraft to benefit from all its advantages, including the four-year maintenance coverage."

The Kodiak 100 Series III incorporates enhancements and standard features for improved flight safety, greater cabin comfort, augmented operational capabilities from both unimproved strips and on water with floats, as well as upgraded quality and more comprehensive maintenance coverage.
