Diamond Aircraft is gearing up for a landmark presence at AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, taking place from 22–25 April. As Europe’s largest gathering for business and general aviation, AERO provides the perfect stage for Diamond Aircraft to showcase its latest innovations, new product features, and an elevated visitor experience.

Jane Wang, Director for Sales, Marketing, and Flight Operations at Diamond Aircraft Austriacommented: “AERO Friedrichshafen is always a highlight for the aviation community, but this year marks an especially exciting moment for Diamond Aircraft. With three new demonstrator aircraft making their first public appearance, and the introduction of our Pilot Lounge, we are bringing more innovation, more engagement, and more opportunities for meaningful connections than ever before. We can’t wait to welcome visitors, customers, and partners to experience the future of Diamond Aircraft firsthand.”

Four aircraft on display, three making their first public appearance

At this year’s event, Diamond Aircraft will exhibit four aircraft, including three brand‑new demonstrators debuting publicly for the first time:

The DA20i Katana on display represents the model’s exciting return to European manufacturing and will be shown alongside Aviation Academy Austria, where it is already in active use within the academy’s training fleet.

Visitors can also look forward to the announcement of new product features for the DA62, DA50 RG, and DA42‑VI. Full details will be shared as the event approaches.

The stand will also feature:

  • A complete display of all Diamond Aircraft exterior and interior material samples
  • A real Austro Engine E4-series engine
  • A full-scale 1:1 model of the Austro Engine R-series
  • A fully stocked Diamond Aircraft Pilot Shop with merchandise, pilot accessories, and exclusive AERO items

Introducing Diamond Aircraft Pilot Lounge

For the first time at AERO, Diamond Aircraft will debut its Pilot Lounge: a dedicated space for Diamond Aircraft owners and Diamond Flying Club (DFC) members to relax, connect, and recharge during the show.

A truly global team on site

This year’s stand will be supported by an extensive team from Diamond Aircraft headquarters in Austria, joined by sales partners and distributors from across Europe and abroad, ensuring visitors can access expert guidance, product knowledge, and personalized advice throughout the show.
