Toluca International Airport-based Across was tapped as Embraer Executive Jets’ authorized sales representative for Mexico, the Brazilian aircraft manufacturer announced today. Under the partnership, seven-year-old Across will add Embraer business jet sales and fractional ownership offerings to its existing aircraft charter/management and FBO services.
“Embraer has established a strong presence in Mexico by supplying aircraft for the defense and airline markets. Now our business jets portfolio is gaining momentum with Mexican customers,” said Embraer Executive Jets president and CEO Marco Tulio Pellegrini. “Having Across on board as a sales partner leverages our footprint in the country and highlights our commitment to the Mexican market.”
Embraer Executive Jets’ sales network expansion follows the growth of the company’s worldwide business jet fleet. Last year it delivered 120 aircraft, and the fleet of Embraer Phenom, Legacy and Lineage business jets operating in Mexico, alone, grew by 35 percent.
