The FACC subsidiary FACC Solutions Inc. is a highly qualified maintenance company for aircraft components in the USA offering aftermarket services with a focus on the modification and repair of components and systems for aircraft. By expanding the Wichita location the enterprise takes another successful step towards its defined customer service strategy.
Since 2014, the Wichita location has been offering a component repair station in addition to FACC’s core business, which is the development and manufacture of lightweight components for the global aviation industry. FACC Solutions Inc. has successfully established itself on the American aerospace market by offering a unique portfolio of support services in the MRO business, maintenance and repair of composite systems. “We see great potential in the repair and maintenance business, which is also reflected in a 200 percent growth achieved at our US site in Wichita“, says Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC. This is why major investments are made in the location, expanding the surface area to 60,000 square feet. “By expanding our Wichita factory we want to become the absolute number 1 for our customers on the market. We score with being very flexible, with quickly finding precise customer solutions, and with offering cost-efficient approaches at shortest notice”, adds Machtlinger. With its MRO services FACC Solutions in Wichita addresses airlines, MRO stations, spare parts and service providers, as well as OEMs (aircraft manufacturers) in North, Central and South America.
Sufficient space for perfect services
FACC Solutions Inc. can make use of the new area, which is situated close to the present factory, from the 1st of June. „This additional space enables us to further drive our growth in the field of Aftermarket Services”, says Machtlinger. Due to the efficient infrastructure, both the US subsidiary in Wichita and FACC in Austria meet all technical and regulatory requirements to perform maintenance work on structural components of wings, tail units or engines, as well as in the aircraft cabin.
