The engine manufacturer Rolls-Royce recently honored its best and most qualified suppliers. FACC received the "Supplier Award" for exceptional teamwork and the highest standards of quality and performance in the category "Performance Through Our People".

The leading Austrian company FACC and the British company Rolls-Royce have been working together as partners for many years. For FACC, the focus of their collaborative work is to ensure a competitive global supply chain that meets Rolls-Royce’s high production requirements through innovative manufacturing technologies and processes. "With the know-how of our employees, our high standards in manufacturing and 100% reliability as a partner in the production of innovative engine components, FACC offers services with sustainable added value," says Robert Machtlinger, CEO of FACC, adding: "Each and every one of us, from the production line through to management, work every day on strengthening FACC in its position as a leading aerospace group and as a strong technology partner". This corporate philosophy as well as the continuous optimization of operational performance prompted Rolls-Royce to present the Upper Austrian high-tech group with a "Supplier Award" as a sign of its high regard for the FACC crew.

Award for teamwork

On the occasion of this year's "Supplier Conference" in London, Rolls-Royce presented the award in the category "Performance Through Our People" to CEO Robert Machtlinger and Günter Nelböck, FACC Vice President Engine & Nacelles. “For us, this award confirms the daily performance of our employees and is at the same time our mission to continue to support Rolls-Royce as a technology partner with innovative solutions in the future,” explains Machtlinger.
