The Gulfstream G650ER has added another city-pair record. The aircraft recently flew from Dubai, UAE to New York City in 13 hours and 10 minutes.
The G650ER departed Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai on November 13 and flew 6,159 nautical miles/11,407 kilometers to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey. The flight took 13 hours and 10 minutes at an average cruise speed in excess of Mach 0.87.
The flight has yet to be verified by the FAA and once verified the city-pair record will be sent to the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale in Switzerland for recognition as a world record.
