GM Aviation, the official and exclusive Tecnam dealer for Germany and Austria, officially confirmed orders for two new aircraft: a P2010 Gran Lusso TDI and a P2008JC NG. As the authorized dealer, the introduction of these state-of-the-art models is intended to enhance both the flight training and private aviation sectors. GM Aviation will utilize both the P2010 Gran Lusso TDI and the P2008JC NG as dedicated demonstrators, providing potential customers across Germany and Austria with the opportunity to experience Tecnam’s hallmark Italian design, advanced aerodynamics, and superior efficiency firsthand.
Beyond fleet expansion, the collaboration between the two companies reached a new milestone during AERO Friedrichshafen 2026. Tecnam and GM Aviation successfully consolidated a joint training strategy specifically designed to support and serve both Flight Training Organizations and private owners alike. To provide Tecnam customers with an even better ownership experience, a new integrated after-sales strategy has been implemented, including the spare parts distribution services of Global Aviation Parts and the appointment of additional Tecnam authorized service centres. This focused approach to technical assistance and spare parts distribution ensures that local operators, particularly FTOs, will receive unparalleled, continuous support and minimal operational downtime.
Jan-Niclas Krahn, Sales at GM Aviation commented: “We have had a great year with Tecnam, and are looking forward to many more. It has been a pleasure working with the customer and the team from Italy, which is why we are showing further commitment. We are very much looking forward to showing these two great aircraft to our customers.”
Pasquale De Rosa, Sales Manager for Europe at Tecnam stated: “We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with GM Aviation. Their proactive approach to the German and Austrian markets as our official dealer perfectly aligns with our vision. By introducing these exceptional aircraft alongside our newly consolidated joint training strategy, we are uniquely equipped to support FTOs and elevate the standard of service for private owners across the region.”
Tradition, innovation and vision. These factors are taking Tecnam to new horizons. Based on recent data and industry benchmarks, Tecnam offers the greenest training fleet in the world. Flight schools using Tecnam’s single and twin engine fleet can save up to 10 tonnes of CO2 emissions for each student who completes a Commercial Pilot Licence – a 60% reduction compared to a fleet using 100LL fuel across 155 flight hours, including 30 hours in a twin (www.Tecnam.com/soar-greener).
