Irkut Corporation is interested in starting deliveries of the latest MS-21 airliners to Brazil as well as launching production of the jet’s components in this country, RIA Novosti reports with reference to press-services of VEB and Irkut Corporation.
“Irkut Corporation is entering Latin American market … a memorandum of understanding and cooperation agreement between Parana state and Irkut Corporation will be signed. The major goal of these documents is promotion of MS-21 airliner and launch of production of the jet’s components in Brazil,” VEB’s press-service added.
Moreover, the Russian company may establish an aviation cluster in Maringa. The corresponding cooperation agreement may be signed at Russian-Brazilian forum, Irkut Corporation noted.
