Multi-purpose four-seat MAI-411 aircraft received the certificate of airworthiness after passing all the tests. The aircraft was produced on the basis of the OJSC Concern KEMZ, located in Kizlyar.
“The developed serial model of the multi-purpose four-seater MAI-411 aircraft, which flight range is 1,500 km, was tested in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations -118. It received a certificate of airworthiness of a flying vehicle single prototype. This aircraft modification will seriously compete with foreign analogues,” commented Ibrahim Akhmatova, General Director of the Concern KEMZ.
Aircraft MAI-411 has a solid aluminum construction, sheathed with ultra-light composite material. The aircraft can be operated on combustive and lubricating materials, its discharge characteristics are comparable to automobile. The use of MAI-411 may be promising in air travel, air patrols, aerial surveys, instrumental monitoring, air travel, initial training, and flight training.
The aircraft was designed at the development design office of the Moscow Aviation Institute. Its production will be carried out on the basis of the Kizlyar company Concern KEMZ, which is part of the State Corporation Rostec.
