Recaro Aircraft Seating unveiled a new streamlined design for its final assembly line. An inauguration event was held on March 2 and was attended by nearly 100 suppliers, VIPs and RECARO colleagues. Nearly 11k square meters of the space was renovated, it features more than 350m conveyor technology for the seats, 60% power savings through LED lighting, and an expanded canteen and coffee lounge. More than 4 million € were invested in the project.

A part of the company’s global space2grow expansion strategy, planning for the new FAL design first kicked off in 2017. The implementation took 15 months of construction time and was completed in January 2023.
