Russian Helicopters, part of State Corporation Rostec, will take part in FIDAE 2016 International Air & Space Fair, from 29 March to 3 April, in Santiago, Chile.  The holding company will showcase its newest Ma-171A2 helicopter for the first time; together with Rosoboronexport it will also demonstrate Mi-28NE and Mi-35M military helicopters.

Presently, more than 200 Russian and Soviet made commercial and military helicopters are operated in Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru and in a number of other South American countries.  Chile – a country with special mountainous terrain - needs firefighting and cargo-lifting helicopters.

The Latin American market has been one of the priorities for Russian Helicopters.  The company’s products, including Ka-32A11BC helicopters, Mi-171 in various modifications and Mi-17V-5 with Russian made engines are in full compliance with customers’ requirements.  In addition, Russian Helicopters are ready to provide after-sale service and look into establishing new service centers in the region.

The company’s pavilion will feature Mi-171A2 and Ka-32A11BC helicopters in search and rescue modifications.  As for the military helicopters, Russian Helicopters and Rosoboronexport will introduce visitors to the multirole military transport Mi-35M and combat Mi-28NE “Night Hunter” helicopters.

Also, during FIDAE 2016, the company will have a number of negotiations with potential customers and operators.  A presentation of the newest light Ansat helicopter is planned.

Russian Helicopters, (part of State Corporation Rostec), is one of the global leaders in helicopter production and the only helicopter design and production powerhouse in Russia.
